Article suffers from a lack of worldwide POV like the Wikipedia article. Needs statistics from other countries, the UK and Germany are quite important to the biomed industry just for starters. Perhaps some comparison to Clinical Engineering? Some details on how graduate courses on the subject are taught. I study Medical Electronics and Instrumentation at Liverpool University, UK.
