I am a student of Aerospace engineering at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. I also have a B.A. in English (conf. 2002, Reed College).
My primary interests (as regards engineering) are in astronautics, spacecraft design, spacecraft mission design, and astronomy, as well as general engineering and design topics. I also have some experience and knowledge of marine construction and dredging, inherited from my father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Unfortunately, being a student and employed makes me rather busy, so I may be slow to respond to queries on talk, and sporadically active.
